Now I'm not defending Cantona (or attacking him for that matter, I can't be bothered), but it does rather look as though what had been a trickle up to then became more of a flood. The rags are a confused lot aren't they? When Cantona was there they voted him the best player of all time that had been at their club, not the great George Best or Duncan Edwards or the family man, he wasn't even the best player of that side really, arguably the ginger cardboard cut out was.
