right here goes......wish this could have waited until after 1000 posts but never mind. don't care about any shit i get for this for claiming to be ITK, but here goes.

i know for certain that the new away will be the midnight blue touted for a long time. it will have a sort of turquoise coloured sponsor and a black goalie kit. the zinfandel gear is just training kit. as usual with these stories, i would be getting someone in trouble if i said how i knew.

if i'm wrong, then may i be mocked mercilessly for ever on this forum. but i'm right, and for the first time ever, i can claim to be ITK!!!

this kind of blue

So is it within the rules to have a blue home kit and a blue away kit? I suppose if it's a drastically different shade, I can imagine them allowing it. I like the thought of it actually - City being purely blue, wherever they play.

haven't seen it myself, but i know a man who has.

-- Tue Jun 29, 2010 6:48 pm --

we did it the other year under pearce.

i hope your right, i like the idea of a navy kit. i was talking with a mate the other day about about a navy blue away kit. and he wernt having it at all. he said the away kit has to be a totally different colour to the home kit and not just a darker shade of blue.
is there such a rule?
