Beans in a ramekin

I just pour them onto my plate like a normal person then use said ramekin to put my egg whites in.

Most hotels we go to seem to do this, but as someone mentioned at least it shields them from the egg, giving you time to create a barrier of hash browns or sausage. They shouldn’t mix with the grilled tomato either, ideally.

Worse though, is the propensity for foreign hotels to exclude baked beans altogether. Shocking behaviour.

Many years ago , in a Highland Lodge near Mount Eldoret in Kenya where was the only guest, I was served cold baked beans in a ramekin as a starter. Never got over it .

And what’s with all the people not wanting bean juice to go into other parts of their full English? That’s the whole fucking point of a full English.
A mish mash of shite that shouldn’t work well together but does and becomes a thing of beauty.
