Beginning The 2025 Rebuild of City

This is all 115 related, but all I know is we need three players who aren't diamonds in the rough at £45m but world beating £80m players.

A massive shame it's come to this because Ederson, Walker, Bernardo, and Gundogan all deserved to be given individual goodbyes and emotional send-offs, but I can see all four leaving in the summer at once.

And I'm not sure if Stones, Nunes, McAtee, De Bruyne, and Grealish can be entirely confident of seeing the start of the 2025/26 season either.

The only way those latter three are still with us come August will be if Pep regards Ederson, Walker, Bernardo, and Gundogan leaving as more than enough change.

Over the next 2 windows great leaps forward can be make in the signing of 5-6 players and if opportunities arise in January they should be taken. That said although there are many very good players that would leap through hoops to play for City the pool is smaller for ones we can get in January. The common thought is a RB and DM in January and players we could possibly get include Guimaraes, Wharton, Zubimendi, Frimpong, Kimmich either because they have a release clause (this does not mean the player will leave), last year of contract and unlikely to resign or we have a very good chance because their club couldn't really stop them.

Trying to get the world class signings in Jan from other clubs such as Wirtz, Musiala, Rodrygo, Barella, Williams (all on my dream signings list) almost impossible in January regardless of the money on offer

So are are youngsters who can come in and make an immediate impact. Not ‘projects’, not ‘potentials’ - but actual fucking world class players.

Pay the premium. Stop skating about the rink of potential ability and dine at the table of talent supremacy again.

David Silva
Yaya Toure
Aguero
Kev
Tevez
Nasri

Players who were absolutely world class and brought in to elevate the side. Not players who were brought in to compliment others.
The issue with getting world class players. The ones we took above were around 24 years of age. The youngest of them was Aguero who was 23 and I think it is getting harder to get these level of players at the age we took them.

Top teams are picking off players at a younger age these days as the top players are being identified at earlier ages so you can’t find world class players on the market so much. Musiala for example went to Bayern a top team in his teens and would be hard to get now without paying massive fee, even then it would be the likes of Musiala telling Bayern he wanted to leave as there is no amount Bayern would accept. Real and Barcelona are bringing in players younger and I think that is the way forward. It is practically impossible to buy their players.

Any world class players now and if you class Wirtz and Musiala as World class they are only 21 both would command a fee of €100m+

Maybe gvadiol could go into midfield as he has an eye for goal and he may be able to stop attacks before they happen .

Think it’s quite likely KDB, goes and if the other 4 you mention go as well,I doubt we’d want any more turnover in one summer than that.Though Bernardo might well see out his last year.
