Agree with all the sentiments on this thread...the way the media and certain so called "professionals" handled the reporting of this transfer was nothing short of disgraceful...

Truth is that there's probably an element of fear in there, as we are showing that we are going to upset the apple cartel...Wenger must know even next season, he will have a tough time finishing fourth, never mind this season...

The "Death Of Football" comment was the one which really riled me. Ah well, it's done now. We know where we stand, and we know how we're going to be treated until we win something.

When the same situation happened a few years ago Lineker turned down a move to Blackburn, but the players eventually came. The same will happen here. We are not a laughing stock because of the Kaka deal falling through, it went sour for whatever reason I dont know but they needed the cash to rebuild much more than we needed the player.

Bellemy on the other hand is a really strange one. I agree with every single anti -Bellamy post on here. If Hughes really wanted him I am sure we could have got him on deadline day a lot cheaper. I hope he does well in a Sky Blue shirt and in his defence if he was English and not Welsh he would have caps ( better than Andy Johnson, Darren Bent, Alan Smith, Vassell and Jeffers) . However, Owen, Saviola, many more would have been my preferences.

Milans targets with the Kaka cash were Adebayor, Clichy, Benzama and Ribery. Lets buy these instead and send them out on loan to Juve and Inter.
