being a blue

When you grew up surrounded by those rats and saw us win fuck all, being a blue right now is almost surreal. Fucking great too
and the best bit is you can spot the rags from a mile away now,
just by the look on their faces,
they've had all that smugness wiped off
and it's ace to see it.

we used to go into derbies thinking i just hope they don't put 4 or 5 past us.
now i'd be happy to play 'em every weekend.

lest we forget

I don't eat spelt (or any other hippie shit) but I'll give you the Mahrez one.
Have you ever gone smelt fishing?
what's smelt fishing?
i can't recall ever going fishing at all, let alone for smells.

i think you spelt hippy wrong :)

Sometimes Frustrating, Sometimes Fantastic, Sometimes Ecstatic But Never boring!
(well apart from when pearce was in charge)

I’m 61, and I’ve been supporting City for more than 53 years now.

Apart from my family, Manchester City has been a part of my life more than anything.
My mum banned me from wearing my scarf for school so I used to hide it under the flap at the bottom of my adidas bag and put it on when round the corner. It never fades does it.

Too many great days to mention, however the 5 - 1 ( United not Charlton ), Notts County A, Stoke on Boxing Day ( twice ), Oldham A walking through a mud bath, Blackburn 2000 and everything after that has been pretty surreal.
