Being told to sit down at the wolves game

I am also sat in 217 and i take your point about obstructing someones view but all the ones being told to sit down were sat on the last row with only a wall behind them, some of the stewards act like little jobsworths, especially the ones that actually carry a rule book with them.

If they don't uphold the rules, they get sacked.

at the concrete bowl we play in they have a text grassing service where you text a number and basically grass up anyone who has been standing up singing , swearing etc .
hangs head in shame at how his club treats its fans

dont tell em. jesus its a long way away from what I was captivated by as a kid.
its getting like the theatre as it is
at least its worth watching the pitch now though

true, but dont just waltz in and talk to people like shit.we werent persistently standing, but some discretion needs to be used .especially when we were creating numerous goalscoring opportunities during that first half.people are going to stand up,its a natural thing to do when you think you are going to score.

Takes this piss if your on the back row, I was stood up for litterally 10seconds after kick off last year and got asked to sit down

It was on earlier. I presume you are a season card holder. Part of the rules that you agree to when you purchase the ticket is to accept the ground regulations. Sitting in the seat for the majority of a match is just one of those regulations. The stewards are simply trying to apply the regulations that the club has to obey. They have to agree to abide by those regulations to get the ground appropriately certified by the Council. The club passes that duty onto the fans through their membership regulations. If you don’t accept the rules don’t buy the ticket.

Killjoys like you really piss me off,"if you dont accept the rules dont buy a ticket" ffs football for me and so many is a way to escape and let all the shit out and stress uve had during the week,if u wana just sit there and be quiet,go the flicks m8,and dont forget your popcorn

If you wanna stand up, sit in the singing section/south stand, where they are a little looser, otherwise, stick to the feckin rules.
