Belfast / Northern Ireland fans meet-up - Sun 13th May

Was in lavery's for the cup final last year and met the boys,and a fine bunch you were too,you have now put me on the spot,because I have been invited to my daughters on Sunday for the game to watch it with her and my 2 grandsons ( who I am turning into blues ) and hopefully for celebration party afterwards,now I am not sure what to do,I would love to meet up with you guys again for the final game,but the thought of being with my grandsons if we do it is just to good an opportunity to let pass as it could persuade them to be city fans for life,aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !

Good point mate,as I said this sunday could be the day when they look back on in 40 or so years time and say,"that was the day my grandad got me into city and thank god he did"

Think I was chatting to them briefly (I'd had a few by the time the match was over, to calm nerves obviously), there was a couple of rags in the bar who weren't too happy with the non-blues wearing city shirts generally winding them up!

I live down the road from the hogs, don't go in it that much but seeing as it's staggering distance I might see you there Sunday!

I could perhaps be wrong here mate so dont hold me to this but I think theres a Manchester City supporters club in Portadown somewhere.
If there is, im sure a bit of googling and digging on your part for email adds, phone numbers etc will lead to you getting contact and from there they will tell you where the best place is to join Blues for the last day

Cheers for the info, again Portadown is a bit too far away for me but I'll bear it in mind for next season. Can't afford to do away days with City but away days watching matches in different parts of Norn Iron with like minded people could be a cheaper alternative
