Merlin was brilliant tonight; he ran the show. Great shot for his goal and a very well-taken penalty. After his last effort for City, I was dreading it.

It's utterly fantastic to see our little wizard back to the levels we've become used to over the last six seasons.

Dave's been sensational tonight. As the commentators have just said, he looks a couple of yards quicker this season than last season. Kev and the Belgians in general have been really poor. Wonder how long Martinez will last in the role; the team's getting booed in his first game albeit a friendly.
