Bet its a barrel of laughs when they play Serbia.

Throwing fireworks v. Belgium. Why? Is there a political statement they are trying to make. I understood the issues when they were exchanging and throwing chairs at their Serbian neighbours at the Australian Tennis but what have little Belgium done to anybody?

Maybe Belgians are just a bit dull and the Bosnians wanted to liven things up a bit? Or perhaps their footballers feel a little more at home when there's loud explosions going off all over the place, and it was really a clever tactical ploy to relax their players and scare the Belgians with a bit of noisyness and excitement.

Alright. How hard is it to get tickets for Constant Vanden Stock. I've always looked out for Anderlecht results since the UEFA Cup v Tottenham in 1984. Saw RSCA for the first time this season v Cercle in Brugge. Bart Goor had a great game as did Jelle van Domme. Thought the Paars-Wit/Les Mauves were shouting "Yellow, Yellow" :D

The match was in Genk yesterday.

It's verry difficult to get tickets for Anderlecht the match day... They are always aproximately 1000-2000 tickets free.

Right. I just saw your username RSCA_Kompany and assumed you were an Anderlecht fan.

It has nothing to do with Belgium apparently. I have been told that it is because they have been trying for years to get rid of the bosnian FA which basically consists of a bunch of politically placed corrupt thieves that don't give a shit about football. All they are interested in is lining their own pockets while the bosnian league has gone rapidly downhill and become the most corrupt one in the world (or second worst I can't remember). After many protests of all sorts have failed the 'fans' have decided that the best way to get the current bosnian FA removed is if they hit them where it will really hurt i.e. in their pockets. Apparently the big idea is to get the UEFA or FIFA to punish bosnian FA financially which will eventually force the big cheese there to leave their positions under pressure from the government. It might backfire though if the UEFA decides that the repeat game at home on wednesday against Belgium has to be played behind the closed doors as that game was sold out ages ago and their FA has pocketed the money already (fck all chance of refund I reckon).

A couple of years ago Serbia and Bosnia played each other in the qualifiers. During a game in Belgrade my girlfriends bosnian friend tried to deflect a large firework that was going straight towards his younger brothers head and lost a few fingers in the process.

Very interesting post. I know some Bosnians who came as refugees after their home in Sarajevo suffered under the three year Serbian siege that the 'free world' stood by and watched. I am not condoning the conduct in Belgium, but if any country in Europe deserves a little slack, it must surely be Bosnia.
