I'm all set for three nights in Belgrade next month. Can anybody recommend anything to do? The atmosphere might be slightly spoiled by 2000 Welsh football fans over for Serbia away; but I'd still like to be cultural alongside getting merry.

It's Georgia towards the end of the year. Happy to pick up Dinamo Tbilisi shirts for anyone who wants one. Bit of thanks for Kinky.

Went there for work last year. I actually liked it, all though it is easy to see that the country is pretty poor.
The City center is nice, went to castle which is more or less located at the end of the pedestrian zone.
People seems really friendly, stunning woman on display, cheap food and booze. Nothing not to like, expect the temperatures perhaps. It was extremely hot for my taste.

It looks dirt cheap. Beer is no more than £1.20 a pint and the Welsh get thirsty.

It interests me when people say how friendly they were in Eastern Europe. Most of them I've met over here are really surly and miserable. It must be the effect Britain has on them. I was taken aback with the Spanish in Malaga too.

Cheers Jazzman.
