Bell, Lee, Summerbee, Doyle etc - All T###s?

Re: Bell, Lee, Summerbee, Doyle etc - All Twats?

this is exactly the kind of reaction i wanted and has completely met my expectations.

you wouldn't know hypocrisy if it smashed you in the face.

point is, the players colluded to get the manager sacked. it doesn't matter what they'd done before. they were all professional footballers and, according to you lot, should have fucked off if they didn't like it and 'get some players in who want to play for the club'.

Difference is they wanted what was best for the club, the current 'players' want to do less training.

So what happens if hughes is sacked and the next manager has and equal or bigger training regime. Sack the next manager too ? What aboput the manager after that ?

You see where this is going....

yeah, the second division (or the championship, as the re-branders like to call it).

Saunders did well at Villa and we never won the league title again. Says it all.

Sanity. Anyone backing Elano, Jo and Tal Ben Haim wanting Hughes to be sacked because the training is too hard, is in my eyes a cock.

Re: Bell, Lee, Summerbee, Doyle etc - All Twats?

and what good did this do back then ?or was it that this team had come to a natural end anyway.maybe our history would of been alot more successful if the club had stuck by the manager,it wouldnt of been hard!i am old enough to remember..
another different angle to get at hughes.this analogy however doesnt work.

well that's clearly what a lot of people must think they are. or maybe short or selective memory comes into play. maybe you're just not old enough to remember. if not you may be excused but, these players used so called 'player power' to get ron saunders sacked, back in 73/74.
(now saunders did go on to win the league championship with aston villa some years later. although, he happened to be very lucky as i think he managed to use only thirteen players that year. )

point is, if it comes to backing elano or hughes, then i know who i'm firmly behind...and it aint the manager.

Pretty crap analogy - these boys were City legends, genuinely cared about the club and had earnt the right to have an opinion by being PROVEN winners.

As for this current crop their not fit to lace their Boots, in most cases have achieved next to nothing in their careers and have no loyalty to our club. Can't see Elano hosting guests in the legends lounge or trying to buy the club to save it from meltdown in ten years.

Sad thing is I think Elano is a genuinely gifted player. He should get his head down and prove it.

You thought you were being clever, sadly you have shown yourself up with a totally flawed argument.
