think both will come in very handy when we are having 3 games a week.no doubt both will get plenty of match time
Not that silly if they are competing for the same position, Robinho trumps Bellamy for close control only, certainly not as quick, no superiority in shooting ability, Bellamy has a much better left foot, Bellamy is a more disciplined player and his work rate (not tracking back but offensive work) is superior.DTeacher said:alera said:Your the one talking shite mate. You and ALL your mates? What, BOTH of them? ;o)
I have read some of your posts on here and you don't half come out with some tripe.
Anyone with a modicum of intelligence can see that Bellamy and Robinho are completely different types of player and it's silly to even compare the two.
Bellamy has power, pace, and tenacity. Robinho has incredible skill and balance.DTeacher said:alera said:Your the one talking shite mate. I am saying what all the Blues I know think.

Not running Robinho down but his abilities are not suited to the British game and that's why week in week out he's not as effective . In the right game against the right opposition he's a world beater but his all round game isn't good enough!Marvin said:Bellamy has power, pace, and tenacity. We're lucky enough to have both players in our squad, and I am easgerly waiting the return of Robinho to full fitness.
It's sad trait amongst City fans, that a good news story for City fans - a win, and another superb Bellamy performance - are used as an excuse to run someone else down. These are probably the same fans who rubbished Bellamy when we were first linked with him.

Big name, big fee, big reputation doesn't make him better, you're only as good as your last game and Bellers last was better than Robinho's last.
There's a place for Robinho's abilities but what he lacks makes him a horse for few courses where as Bellamy is your all terrain vehicle!
