funny how he wouldnt take a pay cut to go to a less attractive team but when the "big boys" call its a case of fuck the starving africans

think of the kids craig you selfish ****

if your referring to Cardiff bluefrom that was a loan deal and because we Mancini didn't want him and we were prepared to make the deal happen we had to honour the contract we struck with him when he joined.

It wasn't a matter of him taking a pay cut when he was still our player bluefrom.

As far as Liverpool goes they offerred him a salary that they felt he was worth most likely around half of what we were paying him so he had no option other than stay with us and look after the boys in the twos until January at least when we would try an offload again.

What people have to understand here is that Mancini wanted him out for good no matter what no more loans no more payments to him for him to play with another club etc , just get rid of Mr Williams or else Brian you can get rid of Mr Williams (lol).

A such and given everything that has already been well documented , Liverpool held all the aces in this deal.

Bollocks noone goes on a FREE and then gets a massive pay cut? Why? Because the clubs can put forward what they were going to pay for the transfer towards the salary.

Bellamy WAS/IS a mercenary and all this hyping him like he was the Welsh Jesus has to stop. He had one "decent" season where Robinho did better was just because Bellamy showed more effort he gets hailed as the saviour.

Fuck him glad he is gone and he will flop at Liverpool and probably cause problems there too. He can now shake twitchers hand all he wants and in 100 times below Adebayor in my standing who I believe was harshly treated for no reason. Bellamy on the other hand is a ****.

Spot on.

We are well rid of the twat and his disruptive influence. I seem to remember it was him that failed to stop the cross for that Spurs goal then the wanker has the gall to go and celebrate with twitcher.

A report yesterday in the Times/Independent said it would be 90K a week we were apparently paying £95k
Somebody is lying big time. No way would Dalglish pay Bellamy anywhere near 90K. More likely 45-50K plus add-ons.

Re: Hargreaves in, Bellamy out

He hasnt played for us for over a year and his last few games were a disaster.

United at home he tries some 40 yard crossfield pass. United score

Spurs at home he bottles a tackle....Spurs score.

He was a decent signing and worked hard in most games but he is not Aguero!

He is also injury prone and 32 years old. He isnt going to get any better in the next 2 years and I cant see Liverpool using him much.

Pity we couldnt shift Bridge and Nedum too.

If that's the case we can reliably place trust in Craig that he will do his utmost to derail Liverpool's challenge for a Chumps League aspirations through his own volition and have confidence that he will succeed but play a blinders against Manure and Chelski home and away to ensure maximum points for the reds.

Re: Bellamy takes 50 per cent pay cut

Everytime any player leaves city we all talk about him like hes the second coming and it will come back to bite us as they are going to propel whatever team they go to, to the championship etc etc. Bellamy is a trier thats all, he didnt exactly light it up at cardiff last year nor did he light up at newcastle, blackburn, west ham or liverpool, all his career he has been known for his abilities to cause trouble more than his on pitch abilities and he has never propelled any club that he has been at any great way forward before pulling his usual antics and blaming the whole world apart from him.

In reality this signing for liverpool is like us signing ngog from them and none of us would have been happy with that would we.

Re: Hargreaves in, Bellamy out

A mid table,championship level, player.

The signing that will single handedly guarantee liverfool finish no higher than 6th.

All this and saving on his wages too.

Well done Bobby, well done.

Re: Hargreaves in, Bellamy out

We have superior players to Craig in his position.

If Hargreaves returns to fitness then he will replace Gareth Barry in my opinion.

You are forgetting his pay-off from City together with his new salary from Liverpool and his pay-off I would bet he is on more than he would have been if he had stayed He is a mecenary and Im so glad that he no longer blights this club

What about Nige?

But Craig had to go purely for his attitude he could have done so much more for us but he didn't and he is getting closer and closer to his sell by date so a good choice for us to dump him as he was on mega wages

Aye. He is an absolute cock-goblin and I struggle to understand how ANY blue could still want him at the club. THe way he celebrated with Redknapp in front of his own fans was a total disgrace.

If he plays against us (not much chance of him being fit lol) I hope he gets booed to fuck shortly before De Jong ends his career for him.

Re: Hargreaves in, Bellamy out

Nigel is not going to play every game. The unique luxury our squad enjoys is that if we occumulate injuries or suspensions then we can replace that player without on of an acceptable / equal standard. I do not think any player will be expected to play every game this season as there is potentially 60 plus dependant on our progress in all competitions. I'd even question whether Hart will compete in the early rounds of the Carling and FA Cup.

Nigel is an exceptional player and he will take Yaya Toures place in midfield when he departs for the African Cup of Nations. In my opinion that is when Hargreaves will enjoy some involvement whether regular or not, especially considering that the fixtures come thick and fast in December and given the significance of that period within the season.
