Bellamy to the Dippers

Terrible bit of business by City, this. Adebayor to Spurs is too! Bellamy should be going to Celtic and Adebayor to somewhere on the continent. But no, we're strengthening our rivals.

What makes you think we can dictate where they end up..?

I'm sure we would send them abroad if there would be better offers for him.

We are overpaying them in wages so much that is incredible. Now we we face the bad side of it. they come easier with high wages, but they leave so much harder if we dont need them.

It's all well and good saying we shouldn't strengthen our rivals and I understand the logic in that.
However, why should we be afraid of a player deemed not good enough for us ?

Dalglish resisted loaning Cole out to any rivals and he's gone to Lille. I'd imagine it's not difficult at all to dictate where a player we own and pay ridiculous wages to goes. It's not up to him or the club interested, the only thing that matters is us!

Exactly..We have been trying to offload loads of players without luck.

We do have to face financial realities though. This would save us 5m this year.

Bellamy can leave on a free next June. Few can pay his salary.

Do you seriously see the dippers & spuds as rivals this season? We will finish at least 10 points in front of them both.

You can't force players out of the club when they have a contract, still less insist they sign a new contract with a specific club

These players aren't going to play and with FFP we need to cut unnecessary expenses

They have no future at our club under Mancini and they have a right to play for any club that wants them and they are prepared to join.

We are no longer doing deals for players like we did with Cardiff for Bellamy.

Do you really think Celtic can afford to pay Bellamy anywhere near he is getting at City?

If Bellamy goes to Liverpool it shows us how far we have come when our rivals want our unwanted players.

Its a sign of strength on our part and a weakness on Liverpool's part if you look at it objectively.

Many if not all of the players we loan to other premiership clubs will under perform as was the case last year and Bellamy was virtually non existant for his dream homecoming to the club he wanted to retire playing for in the championship.

Its not that he wasnt good enough for us,their was a clash of personalities that led to him being moved on,nothing more.He was a class player for us and mancini just didnt like to have his character in the dressing room..had bellers had zabs attitude he'd be a shoe in for our squad.

He's not good enough for where we are now.

No one has been more disruptive or disrespectful to us than Tevez and Mancini didn't get rid of him. If Bellamy was a world class player, Mancini would have forgiven him a long time ago and welcomed him back into the fold.

Disagree-Can't play against us but can potentially help take points off our rivals...Suits me

Hearing Bellamy has agreed financial terms for City severance and having medical at Liverpool ahead of free transfer

Wait what? Financial severance? Why are we paying a dime for him to go to dippers????

I hope his severance was 0.

I believe he has one year to run on his current contract and unless Mancini leaves us it will not be renewed and even then its highly unlikely he will be part of the new managers plans so you would have to think given his age and given all the circumstances if he leaves us today it will be on a permanent basis.

You would think the likes of Liverpool will give him a two year deal at best.

City perhaps, right or wrongly, maybe feel Lpool or Spurs won't be our rivals this season, and both Bellers & Ade are capable of being parts of teams which take points off what could be realistically our real rivals this season, rags & chelsea.
