Bellamy warned regarding behaviour (Merged)

If you wanted the rags punished for a lone nutter running onto the pitch, would you accept the same punishment for City next time some idiot has a few too many beers?
Wasn´t really refering to that - more to the coin throwing - the idiot just adds incremental value to any punishment but he´s got his day in court so fair play.
Had the coin throwing been in European competiton at COMS we could have been made to play behind closed doors and frankly I wouldn´t have been able to argue against it

Just proves to me that there are double standards.

Not that I wanted anyone banned but if CB had done the same in the Arsenal game he would have been charged, because it would of upset a certain other club then nowt happens.

On the other hand GN wasn't even playing but managed to run the length of the pitch (remind you of anything) basically celebrating infront of the away fans. Then pretends to warm up even though they had used all their subs.

As much as I would have liked the Goat feeder to get some serious punishment it would have meant bans for Bellamy and Ade too, so overall it is good news. We'd have had a serious problem if Bellamy was also banned for 3 games.

Surely this helps Ade's defence, the chuckle brother wasn't even playing ffs & got off.

I don't mind Neville having a go, mainly because it shows how much we have got to him over the years.

Anyway, I hope he is in the scum side when they come back to ours next year, because I want him to be a real part of the annihilation that we will inflict.

There are an awful lot of bones to pick out of this decision - far too many for me to be arsed atm , but the basic premise still stands - the F.A. ARE BENT!!

Basically they couldnt do him becuase it looked like the fan wanted to smack Bellamy he was perfectly entitled to push him away even the fan has not complained.

Also following the bias of extra time, coin thorwing and hitting one of our players. Neville doing an Adeybaor (or just a Neville) they were in a hard spot. They wanted to fuck us but it was impossible to justify.

Now Neville has got away with running up to the opposition fans winding them up AGAIN hopefully it will prove impossible for them to top up Adebayors ban.

Only just starting to calm down a bit. Good news is RSC will be fit for the bench vs Fulham, no ban for bellamy, Kompany not far off fitness hopefully Ades ban doesnt get extended.

The FA have shit themselves and decicded not to bother in either case after the shitstorm whipped up involving Adebayor. They're caught in a Catch 22 and aren't bright enough to get themselves out of it so they do......nothing.

If they'd punished Bellamy they have absolutely no choice but to charge the twat face slug-balancer over his celebration and the rags management for failing to control their "fans" who attack opposition players with coins and spit.

I just wonder what would've happened had a few of our lads rushed down to the front in a rage when goat-feeder general went waving his arms about them on Sunday,?
Neville is ten times the hate/fun-figure to Blues than Ade will ever be to the arse.

Fortunately,we've got bigger bollocks than the "morally-outraged" gooners will ever have.

It's the most sensible decision all round of course-but being the FA I doubt it was made on any sort of common-sense basis.

only reason bellers got off is they didnt want to charge that f**king f**king f**king c**t neville...

mike channon´s windmill said:
Quite obvious that Atkinson is basically saying sorry for the time added on if he says he wouldn´t have sent Bellers off for the slap

Yeah, that was my first thought. Bit too little too late though IMO. Still, perhaps he does feel shit about it...you never know.
