BELLAMY

If he continues his form then he will be a hero. Two excellent goals for City now and I think 6 in 7 games recently?

I've never seen a WC winning team win with eleven "superstars."

They have a few players with real grit.

And look at Carragher when he was in the Chumps Final for Liverpool.Probably MOTM after Gerrard.

No rule to say a superstar can't put his foot in. Patrick Vieira did OK in the day, and at least one if not more of my "superstars" would be of that ilk.

But, as much as it pains me to say, look at the scum team of the 1990's. Disciplined, "together" and grafted until the final whistle.

Scholes and even Keane (spit), for example, would never be on anyone's list of "superstars" but they were an integral part of that machine. And that was what it was...a machine that had different parts to do different jobs but each equally important. Of course skill and talent are important but the mental strength and sense of cohesiveness have to be there too.

I guess it depends on how you define "superstar". To be honest I would have both Schole and Keane in that category.

You know what? I was actually going to ask for a definition in my last post. I just assumed you meant 11 BIG name signings.

If our definition of "superstar" is the same then I guess we agree?!

It depends on how you define superstar.

If you mean flair player who will beat him man everytime and dances round people etc (like in that plonker Al Fahim's dream team), then there would be a probelm.

If however you mean one of if not the best player in their position, then yes, you could have a team of superstars.
