But if he could have scrapped us say 5 goals this season, against Fulham, Wigan, Newcastle, Everton, and Hull (All scrappy games) then that would have been an extra 8 points, which would see us much higher in the league.

IF we signed John Hartson and he scrapped us say 15 goals this season we'd be in the top 4.

Not really a recommendation to buy him though is it.

FWIW Bellamy has scored 4 league goals since May 2007 at slightly worse than 1 in 5 rate.
