is it just me? i had a bath a couple of hours ago. still got belly button fluff when i looked just now. and its always blue. weird.

Same as the lint in a clothes dryer. Almost always blue/purple/grey.

I'm going to say its blue because you wouldn't dare be wearing red all the time, right?
 
bet its something to do with the billions of dust mites,bet they turn blue/grey when they die
 
It has been observed that belly-button fluff tends to be of a blueish tint. Sometimes it looks a little grey, sometimes purple, but generally it's a pale blue colour. Most clothing has elements of blue or white. The dyes in black clothing, for example, are often not actually black but a very dark blue.
