Think Ben Arfa is a quality player, but doesn't put a shift in when he doesn't have the ball. Whether Mancini would allow that is maybe an issue.

Not at all.
It's quite doubtful to me that Newcastle have any interest in selling the buildup of what is the shades of a title winning side. With a worldclass central defender and a winger they have a real shot. Sounds familiar doesn't it?

Not at all.
Both attack minded midfielders, both have great vision, both capable of playing out on the wing, both fantastic dribblers capable of scoring goals. Granted Ben Arfa is more effective out wide, but I'd say they're pretty similar players.
