We went for 4 years on the trot before covid, absolutely brilliant time.

I’d rather go to Guantanamo bay, or Bakhmut, or even Merseyside.

Aye mate.
We were there n all.
Walked down to the strip around noon.
Was walking in the shade due to being suited and booted.
Was sweating cobs when we got to main square!

I know what you mean,there were six of us dressed as knights of the realm and the birthday boy was dressed as the king,with thigh length boots,gloves,the lot !
Thought he was going to pass out by noon !

I went to Bamidorm once, but stood out like a sore thumb, being incredibly stylish, sauve and urbane and no tattoos on my calf, singled me out. Luckily I’m Glaswegian, or it could have got tetchy.

Each to their own. I can only guess you had a particularly bad experience on a previous trip, or, worse still, formed your opinion on what you'd heard, read, etc.

We bumped into Maria Whittaker last year. (Now Maria Tafari).

A cracking girl. Great eye candy (still). She had some beltin tales to tell.

Alas, she's not a City fan!
