Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear
And it shows them pearly white
Our French fullback on the left, babe
Bendy Mendy in full flight

To the tune of the ballo song

Oh we've got mendy
Benjamin mendy
He's our shark...

Ok ok it needs work

It's gotta mention him humiliating castle tho.

Was just reading about that tackle by Buchan on Bell this week. The King says that altho he didnt think it was deliberate, buchan never visited him in hospital, and never said sorry when they saw each other over the years since....very sad.
Hope Mendy is back soon.
Says all you need to know about them C**s! Juat another reason to despise them.

Could have said a lot more about buchan and that tackle....but its the wrong thread.
Likewise Paul Lake..the initial damage to his knee on the night match v villa....there was a hush over the kippax as we realised it was serious...

MRI's are not as accurate as scopes to diagnose ACL ruptures.
Usually they get done first, but the scope will be done.

I suspect a Lachman test has been done - which is an exterior test an orthopedist can perform to assess whether there is a potential ACL rupture. It is regarded as a fairly accurate test, although not 100% and needs to be confirmed by an MRI and ultimately by an arthroscopic probe. Of course I hope I'm wrong, but I fear the Lachman test has shown as positive, which is probably the basis of the rumours leading to Castles's tweet. Either way, Qatar Blue is correct - a torn ACL does not heal (there is no blood supply): replacement surgery is the only option and it is indeed 6-9 months recovery as was the case for Ilkay.
