this could be 3 month or 8 months and anything in the middle it depends of the treatment and how well mendy recovers but we must never ever rush players back from ACL injury the timescale of missing games is out of the hands of the club and for me and he needs to recover and rest and wait and see if we have to wait to next season then ok we have a good player for next season sad yes but come on people we have to got on with it and wish mendy all the best

It's not going to be 3 months - i can tell you for that for certain. Minimum 6 months - and much more likely towards 9 months.

Unfortunately one of the more difficult injuries for a sportsman. MCL tear you can often get away without surgery. ACL is a killer. But with the right surgeon and persistent rehab, you recover and can play at the top level again.
