Benjamin Mendy leaves City | Launches “multi-million-pound” claim against club over unpaid wages (p118)

He'll get backdated pay from City, apparently. I know someone who knows him and this is what he's been told. No idea how much.
Surely if acquitted the cunts at the home office have to pay? If you deprive someone on a living for 4 years and don’t get a conviction you pay for incompetence

What happens if he's acquitted of all charges? Compensation? Just curious.

He would have to prove that he was the victim of a malicious prosecution to claim compensation. The amount of time this has dragged on, if he does get a not guilty on the remaining charges, I’d guess the last thing he’d want is to be back in a courtroom any time soon.

Not sure what any of it has got to do with the Home Office?

In any case, just because the prosecution fail to convince a jury of someone’s guilt, doesn’t automatically mean it was wrong to bring charges.

Thanks. Find it hard to accept though.

Morality is: don't get accused if you're innocent.

But if proven innocent and he’s been deprived of 10m in wages he’s got to have a recourse surely?
