Why would Monaco care who they sold to as long as it isn't a French team? It is all about money for them. IMO They will sell their top 5 players this year (Fab, Mendy, Silva, Mbappe, and Bakayoko) despite what @Afrenchguy says.

For 54M€, hell yeah.
He's like a brother for Mbappé, it's the only negative point that I see to this moove. It can be the "too much one" when Kylian will have to make his decision. He's an amazing player, but frequently injured, and i'm sure we will replace him with another good one.

Mbappe is staying. We have a Monaco fan who comes on here and he said it was definite that Mbappe was staying unless Monaco got an absurd offer and HAD to sell him. He definitely wants to stay so there is not decision for him to make.

He seems a bit limited technically, other than his crossing ability, but with extraordinary physical attributes?

i thought we had transfer windows for negotiations and confirming transfers. I understand those out of contract like Zabba being announced early etc. but i thought the summer window doesnt start til June?

How did we get it done outside of a window and do we actually need windows?

I think we are buying potential.

As an attacking fullback though he has been right up there this season.

His crossing has been outstanding.

Guardiola just needs to coach him how to play the game now. A bit like he has to do with Stones.

PL window opened today mate although due to contracts normally running up till the end of June, July 1st has become the go to day.

No such thing as a transfer window, transfers can be done and announced wheneveer clubs and players want. There is only a regestration window when player can be regestered with UEFA or the FA.

Basically you can sign contracts any time with anyone .... you can only register players as yours during the window and you can't play them until they are registered

There are extra rules for people out of contract altogether and for emergency loans
