yes , my point was in the broader sense , was city can't do any more posturing ... in their negotiations with Alves verbally done and him ditching us at the last minute. So city now will pay up whatever is asked especially in the FB positions.

Anyone can edit Wikipedia so don't believe all that you read on their pages

I just typed "mcfc squad list" in to Google

There shows a photo of Mendy next to Silva.

I right clicked on Mendy to show in new tab, and it brings up the page below.

It lists him as a City player and says the source is Wikipedia.

Not sure if it's maybe cashéd an old version or whatever, but yeh I agree I'm confident he will sign, but not going to read too much in to this.

I don't know if you have an answer yet but he's ridiculously quick over longer distances, his first couple of meters are not extraordinary(as you could expect from someone of his size) but he can keep up with pretty much any player in the world.

Never mind google or wiki,the OS hasn't even got Ederson and Bernardo in the squad list, although they have added Walker today! Bizarrely Moreno is in there too.

He is quick, but to me his strength is ball control which compliments his pace. He can glide through 2-3 players and for a LB it's not normal and something that we've never ever had in previous LBs.

So you're telling me that a LB is not supposed to just dribble straight into a defender and give the ball up? Someone should let Clichy know that because he's been doing it wrong for a long time.

He reminds me of Yaya. Takes a bit to get going but once he's up to speed he absolutely bulldozes past people.

Mendy is something else though. He nutmegs and fakes with good effect. His puskas pullbacks is 9 in 10 going to leave his marker stranded.
 
He dribbled past Sané, I think it was a cut to the right or a pullback, but just like that he was through to goal. Granted it was Sane doing the covering, but Mendy was able to get in the box without much effort. Has a few tricks in his bag to go past players. Clichy tbf a few seasons was brilliant, but Mendy has more in him, and is also Good defensively.
