It was never going to be done in time for today,Ric said it's booked in for tomorrow so we'll just have to wait and see

The chances are we won't be starting the season with Mendy, Bernardo and anyone else we sign before it kicks off. The main thing is that they are ready for the beginning of September and it will be more beneficial for Bernardo and Sanchez (if signed) to have a good break and then return for pre-season in August. By the start of Sept we should hopefully have a full squad and in the meantime we have sufficient quality to manage until then.

Seems to me people are worried because we have to play a friendly against United, I am sure the players and management will only see it as fitness only importance
