i think the fans getting tetchy on the timescale of this transfer are justified, its not a last minute novelty signing ,its a player which fills a position which has been vacant since 28th May By the 2/3 june it was widely reported that this was in the bag We sold en masse our fullbacks allowing the potential clubs leverage to bung a good few million on price And the best deal we tossed off allowing Alves time and trust that Pep was god and wasnt going to be turned over
