Sometimes we overpay for players who work out.
Lescott, Milner, Tevez were probably all over their apparent market value, but all gave us pretty good service.
The problems arise when you overpay for players who then don't fit in.
Bony and Mangala are the two most recent, but we've had a few.
Let's hope Mendy works out whatever we pay, we then won't remember how much we paid.
