Who gives a fuck if it's reported as £49 million or £52 million? We've got our primary target in that position and that's the important thing, it's something we've failed at on many occasions in recent years.
The fee is irrelevant in today's market, there's so much money around that it really doesn't matter, other than having to comply with FFP which we do comfortably, money has no value anymore, hence why it's proving near impossible to get Sanchez from Arsenal.
We're taking the Real Madrid approach and relentlessly pursuing our primary targets and refusing to say no. This is how you win the big prizes.
Post of the thread. Incredible how some don't get it. We are at the top table now - owner, exec management, manager and coaches, players, facilities and backroom staff - everything is in place to win the lot in future seasons. Not saying we will but we've one hell of a chance.
