This is what I'm thinking, you don't usually travel to a club to simply watch the game do you? If you're interested in scouting a player then you let your scouts do just that and trust their reports. I'm hoping he's meeting officials, whether that's of Juve or Monaco or potentially agents.

And if he wanted to talk to the club regarding a player why would you do it when a champions league semi is on and the media presence is massive?

I haven't seen any decent source saying it and I feel like whoever told sam lee that Navas was getting an offer would have no reason to not disclose clichy was too.
