Cant remember who it was, but someone posted on here its all agreed, it was an issue over payment structure to Monaco or such like which is why its slowed down.

Also, A couple of suggestions on here that contracts run to 30th June so wait a couple of days, collect Loyalty bonus and move

Next week would be logical then for a few of our targets, also a week before pre-season starts.

Not sure if its true but I read that Monaco are back in training tomorrow...hopefully we get this one sorted soon!
 
Le Parisien are claiming that Monaco have promised Mbappe that no one else will be sold after Bakayoko goes to Chelsea - i.e. no move for Mendy, Lemar, Fabinho or anyone else. I'd be amazed if that were the case.

Would be interesting to see how next week unfolds. I would think that if Mendy doesn't sign next week, the negotiations are not as close as has been reported in the media.

Unless mendy has already been agreed before bakayoko, in which case we still sign him and the club aren't technically lying

It is possible Monaco and Mbappe are already thinking of Mendy as a done deal.
 
IF Mendy is off the table and Southampton are saying they are not selling any of their first team players and Bertrand is off the table, who is 3rd choice?
