About bloody time lol.....
A fucking big fat +1.Irony being here most of those moaning about the "ridiculous" fee are on other threads getting giddy at PSG and purring over the way they are going about things.
Only on Bluemoon lol
Mendy is class and i dont care a jot what we have paid!
And KDB arrives when last season ? It didn`t do us any harm.Neither a flapper, nor a wummer, and not particularly concerned about the fee, as Mendy was generally considered to be one of the best left backs in the CL last season.
However, the Brighton game is only three weeks away, and he still hasn't arrived. In fact, we’re not even sure if he’s fully fir.
We’ve already got a new goalkeeper and a new right back, and once more we find ourselves hoping that our best defender doesn’t break down. That doesn’t leave much time for defensive preparation, which unless I’m mistaken, was our biggest weakness last season.
So it’s onwards and upwards, with fingers crossed that everything eventually sorts itself out. Not so much hitting the ground running, as trying to find somewhere to land.
Tree-mendous post; oakiecokie would be proud of it.Didn't know he wasn't a full fir but he does spruce himself up pretty much
Money debate is sad and boring.
We have signed B.Silva for £43m in a market where Sigurdsson is worth £50m, Lukaku is worth £90m and Pickford is worth £30m.
I think we are doing well.
But even if we spent £70m on B.Silva, would anyone really care if he is as good as David and helps the club to win the Premier League and Champion's League? If so that is very sad.
Some of our fans have failed to grasp the changes in the market and seem to want us to go back to signing players like Sinclair, Maicon amd Garcia just so it doesn't look like we are getting ripped off! They would prefer mediocre players to world class ones but will moan when the cheaper players turn out to be shit. Wierd.
Keep flexing our financial muscle I say or we will end up penny pinching like Arsenal.
Truth is mate too many of our fans on here are more concerned with what their rag mates say to them in the playground or pub.
The rest are just very naughty boys......
Spot on. Too much notice paid to what the media and other fans say about us "buying the league" or "oil rich city" it's all bollox, get the players in we need to be the best team, the price is for jealous people to winge about.Truth is mate too many of our fans on here are more concerned with what their rag mates say to them in the playground or pub.

Hi mate, I'm off to Nice next week. Never heard of Eze to be honest. Do you recommend?
Sorry to go OT. Delighted if this comes off btw.
I think that they are simply a bit immature and hystericalI dont think they are that bright to know what wumming is

100% agree if we can't get Sanchez go all out for Mbappe. Go for it and if we succeed deal with the outrage from the media and jealous fans afterWe still want to be loved, both the owners and the fans.
That changed the moment we rose from the ashes.
We should embrace the levels of bile and jealousy, just as United and Chelsea have done to get where they have.
One issue might be that our fan base is less militant, due to the ageing supporters we have?
We need to be feared and loathed in equal measure.
Let us earn that grudging respect for how we play our football, rather than be ashamed that we are now one of the biggest clubs in the world because we won the lottery.
We bought that ticket every week for 40-odd years, religiously, until our numbers deservedly came up.
Losers do their best, winners go home and feck the prom queen, as the film states.
Throw £200m plus down for Mbappe and Dembele and sit back and enjoy the moral indignation.
You need birching for that.Tree-mendous post; oakiecokie would be proud of it.
