Benjani move fell through as he wanted 40k a week and Hull would only offer 25k. He also wanted a release clause in his contract if they were to go down, however Brown refused.

There is a good chance Benjani may stay this window, however Portsmouth are interested in bringing him back, whilst Bolton have made an enquiry. !
