benzema to rags- £38m

Remember that so-called agent who came on here in the summer claiming we'd sign Benzema? It even made Sky Sports' site.

Benzema is great but I'd prefer a more ruthless striker to partner Aguero because Aguero isn't ruthless enough himself and I'm tired of seeing us waste chances to kill off games.

IF Sergio went to Real then I'd concentrate on shifting Dzeko as well, hopefully then we can sign Falcao and Cavani.

Falcao, Cavani, Tevez (seeing his contract out) and Guidetti.

Happy days.

Don't see Cavani and Falcao playing together. Ever.
I feel Cavani is better suited for the PL than Falcao and thus my vote falls on Edison.

I'd like to see Cavani and Aguero as our two main strikers, David Villa as a third option and finally Guideti to make the numbers.

Do you think they can play together

No a question directed at me, so pardon me for butting in; But in my opinion No they can't.
Kind of like Ba and Cisse. Two point men who needs to play as the main striker.
Neither of Cavani and Falcao can really play out wide, nor would anyone of them settle for rotation policy where they'd often find themselves on the bench.

It's either or of them, and as I said in a post above my money is on Cavani.

Sell Edin and Tevez. Keep Kun for (at least) one more year, bring in Cavani and Villa, promote Guidetti. That's our striker force for the 2013/2014 season.

Go on then, I'll humour you.....

Why do you feel Cavani and Sergio would be any different to Cavani and Falcao?

I'm not sure about selling Dzeko AND Tevez. More likely we sell Dzeko and get Cavani which leaves us with Aguero, Tevez, Cavani and Guidetti for 2013-2014. Not so sure about getting Villa, he is like 2 years older than Tevez and seems a little injury prone lately, although I still think your line-up would be pretty good.

Because Agurero can also play out wide to the right, which he often did at Atletico Madrid.

Sergio's general play is FAR superior to that of Cavani and Falcao. He is one of the most skillful and talented forwards in the world, his finishing is just not at the level of the best goal predators. Cavani and Falcao are lethal finishers, as good as Van Persie in that respect, and will work hard to find positions to receive the ball. But put them together and they'd be a very uncreative forward line who could cancel each other out. They need to be surrounded by/partnered with someone skillful to get the best out of them (Cavani has had Lavezzi, Insigne, Pandev for example, Falcao has Adrian, Costa, Turan).

Diego Costa's skillful? he's just a big lump, even Crouch is better on the ground than him.
