I think you'll find we have announced nothing it is other clubs and agents who have announced stuff in order to further their clients interests. Their is no point in doing that with the scum because they know united are skint and wouldnt offer big wages etc for any targets so there is nothing to had by announcing anything.

Also i think it has been well known they have been after valencia for months. Also benzema as good a prospect as he is, is not even close to being a world superstar yet so there is obviously not as much interest in the signing as the signings of kaka, ronaldo and possibly eto'o

If he does go to them, he goes to them, 38m is a tremedous amount of money for a 21yr old who has only been tested in the french league against quite limited opposition.

Despite his face being primarily bacon he is very good at signing players, the day United start to waver is when SAF leaves until then we'll just have to put up with them.
