Benzema

If we are going to go one up, and links to players like Sterling, De Bruyne suggest we are then Aguero, Bony and Benzema into one spot doesnt go. And I'm not having the injury prone Aguero thing either, this season he has had one injury and played 31 of 35 league games.

Many of them less than 100% fit, as Pellegrini pointed out. Same last season, the season before, & the season before.

I take your point about giving him a bit more recovery time, though last season was really the only one when he had multiple injuries due to not recovering,But if we are only playing one striker then Bony is plenty of cover with a 3rd young striker. No way would Benzema be a back up to Aguero and Bony.

if either of Bony or Aguero is out we won't play the other 270 minutes in a week. Our third striker needs to be very very good (if I'm honest I'd like them to be better than Bony, or at least be close with potential)

Just read this on twitter. Tancredi Palmeri says so. 70m euros. 3 days ago apparently. No decision yet?
