Just got this really horrible feeling berbaflop will have a good season next season, let's be honest he was awesome for spuds so he won't just lose that ability, with the stick he has took and the backing bacon face has given him the horrible jock twunt would be able to give everyone the arrogant 'i told you so' line he is so good at.

On another note I think Rooney won't hit last seasons heights!

Thoughts guys??

Re: Berbaflop

Funnily enough, the thought crossed my mind last night when I heard he scored against Celtic. I don't suppose he can be any worse. I don't think their problem is up front. If anywhere, it's the midfield where they will be vunerable.

I agree with you about Rooney. Unfortunately I don't think Tevez wil be as prolific this year.

Re: Berbaflop

Shrek will suffer burn out before Christmas. I'm sure of that. The rags rely on him so much and he just won't be able to shoulder the responsibilty of carrying the complete team on his own for too long. He'll either get injured or he'll just suffer a mental and physical breakdown. Something's got to give with him, and I believe it will be this season.

As for the flop, how many more chances is he going to get? Whatever it is he had at Spuds the rags have taken it off him.

I hope your wrong about berbaflop Danny. I have a rag for a dad and Berba's faliures infront of goal and moaping about is my fav comeback any time he brings Robinhio into an argument.

if you have a dad as a rag and you turn out to be a blue you dont need further comebacks, i can assure you that you have beat him hands down

well done.

Agreed.

Hard to imagine being a red, makes me feel rather sick tbh, I couldn't handle being so plastic.

Re: Berbaflop

If United have designs on winning anything this season, they need Berbatov to have his best season ever, with Scholes and Giggs another year older, The pressure will be on Rooney to better or at least maintain last seasons form, add his awful world cup campaign and he'll feel like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders, then there is Rio "sicknote" Ferdinand, constantly injured.
So yes Berbatov has to have a great season for them to have any chance of any silverware, imo.

Re: Berbaflop

Berbatov was brilliant at Spurs because he was the lone target man with Robbie Keane playing off him, at United Berbatov has to play off Rooney which doesn't suit his game at all. If United were prepared to swap the roles of Berbaflop and Rooney they would have a much more prolific Berbatov but a Rooney who scores half the goals he did last season.
