The Railway Children, Dr Who and a remake of The Plank although I had to Google that as I wondered if he was in the original film and only just found out there was a remake!

I honestly thought he'd died years ago. I remember as a nipper singing along when "Hole in the ground" was played on the radio in the early 60s.

A versatile and possibly underrated entertainer.

How sad, another voice from my childhood gone. Managed to get through the 70's without doing any more to kids than read them stories which is an achievement in itself for entertainers of that era. RIP.
