Right now he's third choice winger and fourth choice 8. He's starting to show his worth as a winger/wide playmaker role which he played at Monaco. It'll be interesting to see how signing another winger, especially someone experienced like Mahrez, will affect his role next season.

Got to agree with other posters regarding his personality and character. He comes across as very intelligent and humble, which can only be a good thing for morale and understanding Pep's tactics/rotation.

Was watching the Wigan presser this morning and Guardiola was raving about his personality. Said as long as he is City manager Bernardo will never leave. High praise.
