When he dribbles the way the ball is glued to his feet is magical!

The closest thing I have seen to Messi when it comes to running with the ball

I would like to know how it is possible for a player to be so exceptional, and have such ordinary statistics

He has scored 7 goals and has 7 assists in the League. By comparison Sterling has 17 goals and 10 assists. Now Raheem has had an exceptional season but so has Bernardo. I think he is easily City's most influential player and yet the stats do not reflect it. Perhaps if you looked at other aspects of his game his output would be evident.

i'm not sure there is a stat for it, but i wonder how many times he's got a key involvement in the build up to a goal for us - like for Foden's on Saturday.

Also, he must be an absolute bastard to play against. Difficult to pick up, ball sticks to his feet, and works his bollocks off every game.

The 'David Silva' stats, the pass before the assist or the run before the cross and so on.

If he keeps steady at close to double figures in goals and assists then he will be doing just fine.

Don't be worried by stats, Xavi & Iniesta are widely regarded as the best centre kids of the last 20 years.
Their stats were not impressive. Well, their goals & assists weren’t.

with Bernardo on the field we effectively play a 4-4-3 and Eddy's distribution makes it 5-4-3, kin'ell no wonder we are top. Rare combination of stamina, skill, football brain and peerless attitude, possibly our best ever bargain. Not sure he would be a great gk, but every other position, no problem.....
