Buzzing that he's staying. I think De Bruyne is my favourite player of all time but this little fella runs him very close.

He deserved wage parity with the best in our squad.

I assume he has a nice deserved salary increase over the next 3 years and the club have inserted a clause to prevent the 'will he won't he' annual shenanigans.

Bernado’s interview was very laid back. He’s staying, he says, because he likes winning. No doubt a few extra £s helped. He also mentioned City’s dept that looks after players’ domestic stuff so they can concentrate on football. I’ve mentioned before that this is important when players come from all over the globe into a new culture, new league etc. Bernado obvs appreciated this. No mention of Pep?
