Bernardo Silva signs new contract until 2026

This should stop any nonsense about him leqving though as this contract extension takes him up until he is 32yrs old, his dream has always been to go to Benfica at 32.

This now makes any posibility of him considering leaving very low as he would have needed to leave this window if he was thinking about it due to any other clubs contract offers taking him beyond his plan
 
Can anyone whose had time already to watch his interview tell me if they discuss the elephant in the room of how he’s wanted to leave for 3 years?

Just wondered what he says about why he’s changed his mind.
 
We know it’s not going to be forever but in a summer where we’ve seen us lose a couple of big hitters it was important to keep him for this season at least. We’ve got a succession plan, I’ve no doubts about that and it sadly will include letting him leave sooner rather than later but having him for at least another 12 months gives us plenty of breathing space.
Just going to enjoy him whilst I can.
