I get your point but regarding the KDB and Zinchenko point, people don’t say they look alike because they’re both Caucasian do they, it’s because they have similar hair and face shapes.
The only similarity that Mendy has with that chocolate cartoon is the fact they are both brown, that’s it, which makes it look like he’s only commenting because of skin colour.
I think it’s ridiculous he’s getting called racist over it because it’s obvious to the world he’s not racist, but it’s a bloody stupid tweet to put out knowing the ever so sensitive world is watching. What was he thinking? He’s an intelligent lad.

I think a stern telling off is in order, nothing more. There was no malice involved, so for the people calling for harsh punishments similar to those given to the abusers of black footballers... do one!

its a bit blown up this tweet. I see Mendy himself didnt complain much and knew it was just a joke and not a racist tweet. IF the person in which the tweet is directed at sees it like that then why do other people that its not about jump in with the racist card. I just dont get it. Its not as if Bernardo put up a racist comment or anythin too bad. I just think football with all the stuff with the players who have been abused by fans and players are just being a bit too sensitive to this tweet. I honestly feel if there is any action against Bernardo it will be highly unlikely. I feel that with this having banter with players you play with will now be a thing of the past if he is found guility. Yes Bernardo in hindsight should of known best.
