Another 22 year old, absolutely love the youth in this squad now. We've really addressed that issue.

Now all we have to do is buy young fullbacks, ideally Semedo and Mendy (wouldn't mind Sandro and Walker though), young goalkeeper (Donnarumma or Ederson) and a young centre mid (Fabinho)

We've been in on Monaco for a month or more for some big deals, but IMO our Champion's League games made a difference. We had plenty of time to see their players, roll out the red carpet for their big wigs and reserve the pick of the bunch in no uncertain terms.

It starts at page 31, 2 weeks ago when they're at the peak of their "he's ours, fucking get in, world class signing" stage.

Some very unhappy campers over there. Thing is, if they think about it rationally for a moment it's obvious both clubs are going to have a huge summer and United will make some great signings too. For me, this is what happens when fans go into full-on transfer muppet mode - pin all their hopes on signing a quality player and then go into meltdown when that player goes elsewhere, and if it happens to be to a direct rival the meltdown is even more pronounced with loads of back-tracking about never wanting him in the first place and shit like that. It's happened on here enough times too! Pogba anyone? ;)
