No that's not true, he's been playing a role like Silva and Nasri were under Pellegrini in the 4222. He's not a proper winger, he's a #10 with pace pushed out wide. He's a good dribbler and has pace so he's very adept at that role, but he's not a genuine winger like Sterling or Sané.
