We can’t let him go so close to the window closing. We will never get a replacement in time. Just tell them to fuck off and come back with £100 million next summer.

There's no way Bernardo would turn down KDB level wages. I don't give an eff how much he "loves" Barca. City not offering him that. Such bullshit.

He’s on the same money as Haaland and De Bruyne. Our 2 best and best paid players.

United are giving it to a 30 year old defensive midfielder with nothing to prove.
 
More than likely we'll move Bernardo on the following summer. We won't sell mid season especially with Kalvin Phillps having injury issues and not many quality players readily availble in January

If what Castles is saying is correct (and I'm sure he's got it straight from Mendes) then I'd sell for as much as possible this week. If he's that desperate to leave that he's willing to go to Paris for half of what we're offering, let him go to the highest bidder and move on. If the club don't think there's a suitable replacement out there (which I can't believe), move Phil back and sign a winger. Or failing that, recall McAtee.

Nobody is irreplaceable.
 
We aren't desperate to sell even with Bernardo (allegedly) turning down a contract extension.
