i think it had a lot to do with lockdown, he was in town with nowhere to go, dont blame him or anyone wanting to fuck off from the current place, we all wanted to get out and change our location.
i think in a way you a right about wages , i think we have heard a few noises about him because he would like a new contract or is in discussions for a new contract and feels he needs to earn more, and imo he needs to be earning up there with kevs wages, maybe not quite as much but not far short.

for what its worth i can see city and bernie announcing a new contract and i reckon thats what @tolmie's hairdoo was happy about the other day

he could jump on citys owners private jet and be in lisbon in 3 hours, or he could get a backy(bicycle) from laporta at barca and it would take him weeks
 
Does anyone else feel this constant Madrid and Barcelona news / hype or bullshit is a concerted effort by La Liga to try and destabilise or undermine us, we do far to much business with these cretins for my liking.
Bernardo should stay or go it's his contract and his and our choice, but it feels like Barcelona are doing a lot of tapping up at our club.

All Smoke and Mirrors, PR is massive against the fans in both clubs.
