Tbh mate , players like him , who run through brick walls for this club deserve to see out their contract and be free to do what he likes at the end of it , sometimes I just don’t get this “we have to sell him for X amount “. We let Gundo do it , but yes he cost less than BS , so what ? How on earth will we replace a player like him for less than £100m?

There’s so many here making allegedly %100 comments or ITK comments that claim ‘cat in hells chance’ etc, that just end up being utter speculative bullshit. Within the space of an hour we went from absolutely certain bernardo was staying (from the horses mouth no less?!) to ‘he’s gone’. That can’t be right. Tolm has said before that we’ve had a contract offer on the table for a while. To increase his wages but I’m sure he said it would expire at the same time. So still a 2 year deal, nothing more. I guess in an attempt to keep him here as long as possible and put an end to this.
