I think Bernardo is staying for this season atleast no way he goes out at this late stage and we are going out to find a replacement. The only question is if Jose alverez who was close to Sergio while he was here is to be believed and Bernardo is buying a house and moving in Manchester, then Bernardo being Bernardo is a sound lad.

He is not the flashy type and a real down to earth lad. He won't make that "investment" financially only to up sticks at the end of the season and move again. offcourse not impossible, but looking at his character and personality i dont see that happening.

So the likelyhood of him extending his contract and getting a uplift on his current wages and buying a house and moving in manchester could click into gear for sure all these other components to make him stay longer and beyond 2025.

lets hope so.

Buying and selling/renting is nothing amongst these kind of earners and someone will take care of it all for them. Don't think that'll make much difference

I believe the love he was shown by the crowd at the weekend will have had an impact on his decision to stay. Players are human beings like anyone else and emotions always form a part of any decision they make. No doubt we will get the full story one day.
